Dr. Watkins received his medical degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco , California and completed his surgical residency at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Watkins is Chairman of the Division of Podiatry and Director of the Podiatric Residency Program at Tulane-Colombia Lakeside Hospital, Metairie, Louisiana.

Dr. Watkins is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. His special interests include diabetic foot care and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Watkins is on most insurance plans and has two convenient office locations in Metairie and Chalmette.
